To set the clock on your Sony CFD-370, press the 'Clock' button until the time flashes, then use the 'Track/Skip' buttons to adjust the hour and minute. Press 'Clock' again to confirm.
First, ensure the disc is clean and free from scratches. Try playing a different disc to rule out disc damage. If the problem persists, clean the CD lens with a lens cleaning disc or consult the manual for further troubleshooting steps.
To improve radio reception, fully extend the telescopic antenna and adjust its position. Place the unit near a window or in a location with less interference. If reception is still poor, try using an external FM antenna if available.
Uneven tape speed can be caused by a worn or dirty capstan and pinch roller. Clean these parts with a cotton swab lightly moistened with isopropyl alcohol. If the issue continues, the drive belt may need replacement.
To switch sound modes, press the 'Sound' button repeatedly to cycle through available options like 'Bass Boost' or 'Mega Bass'. Each mode enhances audio output differently.
Insert a blank cassette tape, tune to the desired radio station, then press 'Record' and 'Play' simultaneously on the tape deck to start recording. Press 'Stop' when finished.
The Sony CFD-370 requires 6 size "D" (R20) batteries for portable operation. Ensure they are inserted correctly following the polarity markings.
The Sony CFD-370 does not have ports for connecting external speakers. It is designed to be a standalone unit with built-in speakers.
Check if the power cord is securely connected to both the unit and the outlet. If using batteries, ensure they are fresh and correctly installed. If the problem persists, try a different power outlet or replace the batteries.
To clean the exterior, use a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using any harsh chemicals or abrasive materials as they can damage the surface. For stubborn stains, slightly dampen the cloth with water.
