To set the clock, press the 'Clock' button, use the 'Tuning' buttons to adjust the hours and minutes, then press 'Enter' to confirm.
Check if the disc is clean and free of scratches. Ensure it is inserted correctly. If the problem persists, try a different disc or clean the lens with a CD lens cleaner.
Extend the FM antenna fully and reposition it for better reception. For AM stations, rotate the unit to find the best signal. Avoid placing near electronic devices that can cause interference.
Check if the cassette is inserted correctly and not jammed. Ensure the tape is not damaged. Try playing a different tape to see if the issue persists.
The Sony CFD-21 does not have output jacks for external speakers. It is designed to be a standalone unit with built-in speakers.
Unplug the unit and use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe the exterior. Avoid using any liquid cleaners or spraying directly onto the unit.
The Sony CFD-21 requires 6 D-size batteries. Open the battery compartment, remove the old batteries, and insert the new ones ensuring correct polarity.
To reset the unit, unplug it from the power outlet and remove any batteries. Wait for a few minutes, then reconnect the power to reset settings.
