To reset the Sony CDX-602 to its factory settings, press the reset button located on the front panel behind the faceplate. This will clear all custom settings and return the unit to its default state.
First, ensure the disc is clean and free from scratches. Try a different disc to rule out the possibility of a defective disc. If the issue persists, check the lens for dust or debris and clean it gently with a lens cleaner.
To improve FM radio reception, ensure that the antenna is fully extended and properly connected. You can also try repositioning the antenna or moving the vehicle to a higher location for better signal reception.
Check if the volume is set to a low level or muted. Ensure that all speaker connections are secure. Verify that the audio source is correctly selected and that the balance and fader settings are appropriately adjusted.
Press the 'Menu' button, navigate to the 'Clock Set' option using the control dial, and press 'Enter.' Adjust the hours and minutes using the control dial, then press 'Enter' to save the settings.
Use a can of compressed air to gently blow out any dust or debris from the CD slot. Avoid inserting any objects into the slot, as this may damage the internal components.
Use an auxiliary cable to connect your external audio device to the AUX input on the front of the unit. Select the AUX input as the source on the CDX-602 to play audio from your device.
Check the dimmer settings in the menu to see if the display brightness is set to a low level. Adjust the brightness settings to your preference or turn off the dimmer function.
Ensure that the power connections are secure and that the fuse in the vehicle's fuse box is not blown. If the issue persists, consult the user manual for further troubleshooting steps or contact a professional technician.
Check if the unit is powered on and try pressing the eject button again. If the CD is still stuck, turn off the unit, disconnect power, and consult the user manual or seek assistance from a professional technician.
