To change the oil, first warm up the engine to allow the oil to drain smoothly. Turn off the engine and remove the oil drain plug located under the tractor. Allow the oil to completely drain into a pan. Replace the drain plug and refill the engine with the recommended oil type and quantity.
Use unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher. Avoid using gasoline with more than 10% ethanol content to prevent engine damage.
Ensure the battery is fully charged and the connections are clean. Check the fuel level and fuel filter. Make sure the spark plug is clean and properly gapped. If the problem persists, consult the manual for further troubleshooting steps.
The recommended tire pressure is usually around 10-14 PSI for the front tires and 10-12 PSI for the rear tires. Always check the operator's manual for specific recommendations.
It is recommended to check the air filter every 25 operating hours and replace it if it appears dirty or damaged. Replace the air filter at least once a season or more often in dusty conditions.
Check if the blades are dull, bent, or damaged and sharpen or replace them as necessary. Ensure that the blade deck is level and that the tire pressure is even across all tires.
To engage the blades, ensure that the tractor is on a flat surface and the engine is running. Pull the blade engagement lever or switch to activate the blades. Always disengage the blades before turning off the tractor.
Excessive vibration can be caused by unbalanced blades, loose parts, or debris caught in the blade area. Inspect and balance the blades, tighten any loose parts, and clear any debris from the deck.
To extend battery life, keep the battery terminals clean and ensure a secure connection. Store the tractor in a cool, dry place and disconnect the battery if storing for extended periods. Regularly charge the battery to maintain optimal performance.
Before storing, clean the tractor thoroughly. Change the oil, inspect and replace the air filter if needed, and disconnect the battery. Add fuel stabilizer to the tank and run the engine for a few minutes to circulate the stabilizer. Store in a dry, covered area.
