To change the oil, run the engine for a few minutes to warm it up, then turn it off. Place an oil pan under the engine, remove the oil drain plug, and let the old oil drain completely. Replace the drain plug, fill the engine with new oil, and check the level with the dipstick.
Use unleaded gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 87. Avoid using gasoline with more than 10% ethanol content to prevent engine damage.
Check the battery connections, fuel level, and ensure the spark plug is functioning. Also, verify that the parking brake is engaged and the PTO is off. If the problem persists, consult a professional.
Sharpen the blades every 20-25 hours of use, or more frequently if cutting through thick or rough terrain. Dull blades can damage the lawn and strain the engine.
Maintain the front tires at 14 PSI and the rear tires at 10 PSI for optimal performance and stability.
Use the lever located on the right side of the tractor. Move the lever to the desired position, ranging from 1 to 4 inches, to adjust the cutting height.
Check for debris or obstructions under the deck, ensure the blades are properly balanced, and inspect the belt for wear or damage. Tighten any loose bolts or nuts on the deck.
Remove the air filter cover, take out the filter, and clean it with compressed air or wash it with mild detergent and water. Let it dry completely before reinstalling.
Change the oil, clean or replace the air filter, remove fuel or add a stabilizer, inflate the tires, and store the tractor in a dry, covered area. Disconnect the battery to prevent drainage.
Ensure the tire pressure is correct, the blades are sharp and balanced, and the mower deck is level. Adjust the deck height levers to ensure an even cut.
