To change the blade, first unplug the saw. Use the blade wrench to loosen the arbor nut, remove the old blade, and replace it with the new one. Ensure the teeth are facing the correct direction and tighten the nut securely.
Check the alignment of the blade and the fence. Adjust the fence so that it is parallel to the blade. Also, ensure that the blade is sharp and properly installed.
Regularly clean the motor vents to prevent dust build-up. Lubricate any moving parts as per the user manual. Avoid overloading the motor to prolong its life.
Use a soft cloth with mild detergent to clean the table surface. Avoid using abrasive cleaners which can scratch the surface. Ensure the table is dry to prevent rust.
A dull blade or slow feed rate can cause burning. Ensure the blade is sharp and feed the wood through the saw at a consistent speed.
Locate the depth adjustment lever or knob, usually found at the back of the saw. Adjust it to the desired depth, ensuring it locks in place securely.
Ensure the saw is plugged in and the power source is functioning. Check the power switch and reset the circuit breaker or replace the fuse if necessary.
Blade replacement depends on usage. For frequent use, inspect the blade for wear or damage monthly. Replace the blade if it shows signs of dullness or damage.
This saw is designed primarily for wood. Using it to cut metal can damage the blade and motor. Use blades specifically designed for metal if necessary.
Always wear safety goggles and hearing protection. Ensure the work area is clean and free of obstructions. Follow all safety instructions in the manual.
