Scheppach WOX D 500 15320902 Operating Instructions

Always wear safety goggles, gloves, and ear protection. Ensure the work area is clean and well-lit. Keep hands away from the blade and ensure the machine is turned off and unplugged when making adjustments.
Disconnect the saw from the power source. Use the provided wrench to loosen the blade bolt, remove the old blade, and install the new one. Tighten the bolt securely before reconnecting the power.
Check the alignment of the blade and the fence. Ensure that both are parallel and adjust if necessary. Also, inspect the blade for any damage or dullness and replace if needed.
Regular maintenance should be performed every 20 hours of operation. This includes cleaning the saw, checking for loose bolts, lubricating moving parts, and inspecting the blade for wear.
Overheating can be caused by prolonged use without breaks or cutting through dense material too quickly. Allow the motor to cool down periodically and ensure there is adequate ventilation around the saw.
Use a carbide-tipped blade with a high tooth count for smooth and efficient cutting of hardwood. Ensure the blade size matches the saw's specifications.
Connect a vacuum or dust extraction system to the saw's dust port. Ensure the system is turned on before starting the saw to capture dust effectively.
Check if the saw is plugged in and the power outlet is functioning. Inspect the power cord for damage and ensure the safety switch is disengaged. Refer to the manual for further troubleshooting.
Loosen the bevel adjustment knob, tilt the saw to the desired angle using the scale, and then tighten the knob securely. Perform a test cut to confirm the angle is correct.
Store the saw in a dry, dust-free area. Cover it with a protective sheet or case to prevent dust accumulation. Ensure the blade is retracted or removed and the saw is unplugged.
