To reset the Salus RT520 thermostat, press and hold the reset button located on the back of the device for 5 seconds. This will restore the thermostat to its factory settings.
If the display is blank, check the power supply, replace the batteries if necessary, and ensure the thermostat is properly connected to the heating system.
To program the schedule, press the 'Menu' button, select 'Program', and use the arrow keys to set the desired times and temperatures for each day. Confirm your settings by pressing the 'OK' button.
Ensure that the thermostat is set to the 'Auto' mode. If it still does not follow the schedule, check for any conflicting manual overrides or settings that could affect the program.
To switch temperature units, access the settings menu, navigate to 'Temperature Unit', and select either Celsius or Fahrenheit.
To calibrate the temperature, go to the settings menu, select 'Calibration', and adjust the temperature offset as needed to match an external thermometer.
To lock the keypad, press and hold the 'Lock' button for 5 seconds. This prevents unauthorized changes to the thermostat settings.
Check the RF connection and ensure both devices are within range. Try re-pairing the thermostat with the receiver by following the pairing instructions in the user manual.
Check the Salus website for the latest firmware version. Follow the provided instructions to download and install the firmware update using a compatible USB device.
Ensure that the thermostat is properly connected and the heating system is powered. Check for any error codes and consult the troubleshooting section of the user manual for specific guidance.
