To pair the Salus RT310 with your heating system, ensure the thermostat and receiver are powered. Press the pairing button on the receiver until the LED starts flashing. On the thermostat, navigate to the pairing menu and select 'Pair'. Wait for the confirmation signal.
Check if the thermostat is set to the correct mode and temperature. Ensure the receiver is properly connected and the batteries in the thermostat are not depleted. If issues persist, reset both devices and try re-pairing them.
To reset the Salus RT310, remove the batteries, wait for 10 seconds, and then reinsert them. This will reset the device to factory settings. You will need to reconfigure your settings after this process.
The Salus RT310 has a wireless range of up to 30 meters indoors, depending on the building's construction materials and layout. Ensure there are minimal obstructions for optimal performance.
To change the batteries in the Salus RT310, gently slide the thermostat off its wall mount to expose the battery compartment. Replace the old batteries with new AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity, then slide the thermostat back onto the mount.
The Salus RT310 is a non-programmable thermostat; it operates based on manual settings. If you require scheduling capabilities, consider a programmable model like the Salus RT520.
The display may not show numbers if the batteries are low or depleted. Replace the batteries with fresh ones. If the problem persists, check the battery contacts for corrosion or damage.
To lock the Salus RT310, press and hold the 'Menu' button for a few seconds until the lock icon appears on the display. This will prevent changes to the settings until it is unlocked by repeating the process.
If the Salus RT310 loses connection, try re-pairing the devices by following the pairing instructions. Ensure there are no new obstructions or sources of interference between the thermostat and the receiver.
To adjust the temperature setpoint, use the up and down arrow buttons on the thermostat. The current setpoint will be displayed, and you can adjust it to your desired temperature.
