To check the oil level, ensure the ATV is on level ground. Remove the dipstick, wipe it clean, reinsert it without screwing it in, and then check the oil level. It should be between the minimum and maximum marks.
Use a high-quality 4-stroke motor oil, typically 10W-40, that meets the API service classification SG, SH, SJ or higher.
It is recommended to change the oil every 100 hours of operation or at least once a year. Always refer to the owner's manual for specific maintenance intervals.
Check the battery connections and charge if necessary, ensure the fuel is fresh and the fuel valve is open, and verify the kill switch is in the correct position. If the problem persists, inspect the spark plug and replace if needed.
Remove the seat and locate the air filter box. Open the box, remove the old filter, and replace it with a new one. Ensure it is seated properly and the box is securely closed.
The recommended tire pressure is typically 5 psi for both front and rear tires. Always check the sidewall of the tire or the owner's manual for specific recommendations.
Check the coolant level and top off if necessary. Inspect the radiator for clogs or debris. Ensure the fan is working properly and that there are no leaks in the cooling system.
Maintain proper tire pressure, perform regular maintenance such as oil and filter changes, and avoid aggressive driving. Additionally, ensure the air filter is clean and the engine is properly tuned.
Thoroughly clean the ATV, especially the undercarriage, to remove all mud and debris. Check the brakes, chain, and sprockets for wear. Lubricate all moving parts and inspect the air filter and cooling system.
The suspension can be adjusted using the pre-load adjuster on the shocks. Turn the adjuster to increase or decrease the preload to suit your riding style and terrain. Refer to the owner’s manual for detailed instructions.
