To adjust the temperature, locate the control panel inside the refrigerator. Use the up and down arrows to set your desired temperature. The recommended setting is between 3°C and 5°C for the fridge compartment.
First, check if the refrigerator is plugged in and the power is on. Ensure the doors are fully closed and the gaskets are sealing properly. Clean the condenser coils if they are dusty, and confirm the temperature settings are correct.
The Rangemaster RTFR18 features a frost-free design, so manual defrosting is not necessary. However, if frost buildup occurs, you can defrost it manually by turning off the unit and leaving the doors open until the ice melts.
Excessive noise can be caused by the refrigerator not being level, items inside vibrating, or the compressor and fans. Ensure the unit is level and that nothing inside is touching the walls. If the noise persists, contact customer support.
To replace the light bulb, first unplug the refrigerator. Locate the light cover inside the fridge, remove it, and unscrew the old bulb. Replace it with a new bulb of the same type and wattage, then reattach the cover.
The Rangemaster RTFR18 does not have an inbuilt water filter. If your model includes a water dispenser, refer to the manual for specific cleaning instructions or consider installing an external water filtration system.
The Rangemaster RTFR18 Refrigerator is rated A+ for energy efficiency, which means it consumes less energy compared to lower-rated models, helping to reduce electricity bills and environmental impact.
If the door does not close properly, check if the shelves or items inside are obstructing it. Inspect the door gaskets for dirt or damage and clean them with warm soapy water. Replace the gasket if it is damaged.
To maximize storage space, reorganize shelves and compartments to fit your needs better. Consider removing unused shelves or bins and use stackable storage containers to optimize space.
Regular maintenance tasks include cleaning the condenser coils every six months, checking and cleaning door gaskets, ensuring the refrigerator is level, and replacing the light bulb as needed.
