To start a pyrolytic self-cleaning cycle, remove all oven shelves and accessories. Close the oven door and select the pyrolytic cleaning function on the control panel. Set the desired cleaning duration, then press start. The oven door will lock automatically for safety.
If the oven door does not unlock, allow the oven to cool down completely. If it remains locked, check the user manual for any reset procedures. If the issue persists, contact Rangemaster customer service for assistance.
First, check that the oven is properly plugged in and that the circuit breaker has not tripped. Ensure that the temperature and cooking mode are set correctly. If the issue persists, it might be a faulty heating element and a qualified technician should inspect it.
Regularly wipe down the oven interior and exterior with a damp cloth. Use the pyrolytic cleaning function as needed. Inspect the door seal for damage and replace if necessary. Clean the oven racks and accessories with warm soapy water.
Ensure the oven is turned off and cool. Remove the glass cover over the light bulb by turning it counterclockwise. Replace the bulb with a new one of the same type, then reattach the glass cover.
While you can use aluminum foil to catch drips, do not cover the oven floor or vents as it can impede air circulation and affect cooking performance. Use foil sparingly and ensure it does not touch the oven walls or heat elements.
Check if the oven is receiving power by testing the outlet with another device. If the outlet works, try resetting the oven by turning off the power at the circuit breaker for a few minutes. If the display is still not working, contact a professional technician.
To prevent smoke, avoid using too much oil or fat. Ensure that any spills are cleaned up promptly. Use oven-safe cookware that is not too large for the oven. Regularly check and clean the oven to remove any burnt food residues.
Use the fan-assisted cooking mode to ensure even heat distribution when cooking multiple dishes. Place dishes on separate shelves to allow proper air circulation. Adjust cooking times and temperatures as necessary, checking food regularly.
Test the oven temperature with an oven thermometer. If it's inaccurate, refer to the user manual for calibration instructions. Typically, you can adjust the temperature settings through the control panel. If unsure, consult a professional technician.
