To turn on the Radica Mattel E-VEX Personal Video Goggles, locate the power button on the side of the device. Press and hold the button for about 2 seconds until the LED indicator lights up.
Ensure that the video input connections are secure and not loose. Adjust the focus wheel located on the top of the goggles until the display becomes clear.
Use the AV input cable provided with the goggles. Connect one end to the AV input port on the goggles and the other end to the video output port of your external device.
The E-VEX goggles require 4 AA batteries. To replace them, open the battery compartment located at the back of the headband, insert new batteries following the polarity markings, and close the compartment securely.
Use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe the lenses and exterior surface of the goggles. Avoid using any liquids or harsh chemicals that could damage the device.
Check that the volume is turned up on both the goggles and the connected device. Ensure that the audio cable is properly connected. If the issue persists, try using a different audio source to determine if the problem is with the goggles or the source.
The E-VEX goggles are designed to fit comfortably over most prescription glasses. Adjust the elastic headband to ensure a snug fit without applying excessive pressure on your glasses.
Store the goggles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Use the original carrying case to protect them from dust and potential damage. Remove the batteries if you do not plan to use the goggles for an extended period.
Ensure that the batteries are correctly installed and have sufficient charge. Replace with new batteries if necessary. If the problem persists, inspect the battery compartment for any signs of corrosion or damage.
The E-VEX goggles do not have a built-in brightness adjustment feature. You can attempt to control the brightness through the settings of the connected video source if available.
