To adjust the chain tension, first, locate the rear axle and loosen the axle nut. Then, turn the chain adjuster bolts on both sides of the axle evenly until the desired tension is reached. Ensure the chain has about 3/4 inch of slack. Finally, retighten the axle nut securely.
Use Polaris PS-4 5W-50 4-Cycle Oil, which is specifically designed for the ACE 150 EFI to ensure optimal performance and protection.
The air filter should be checked and cleaned every 25 hours of operation or more frequently if you ride in dusty conditions. Replace the filter if it is damaged or excessively dirty.
First, check the fuel level and ensure the fuel valve is open. Verify that the kill switch is in the 'RUN' position and the battery is charged. If it still won't start, inspect the spark plug for fouling and replace if necessary.
Inspect the brake pads for wear, ensuring they are not below the minimum thickness. Check the brake fluid level and top it off if needed. Also, examine the brake lines for any signs of damage or leaks.
The recommended tire pressure is 5 psi for both front and rear tires. Keeping the tires at the correct pressure ensures optimal handling and safety.
After a ride, rinse the vehicle with clean water to remove dirt and debris. Use a mild soap solution for stubborn grime. Avoid using high-pressure water around electrical components. Dry with a clean cloth or let it air dry.
Start by checking the battery connections for corrosion or looseness. Inspect all fuses and replace any that are blown. If problems persist, review the wiring harness for damage and consult a professional if needed.
Before storage, clean the vehicle thoroughly, change the oil and filter, fill the fuel tank and add a fuel stabilizer, and disconnect the battery. Store in a dry, cool place to prevent corrosion.
To check the coolant level, ensure the vehicle is on a level surface and the engine is cool. Locate the coolant reservoir and check that the level is between the 'MIN' and 'MAX' marks. Add coolant if necessary.
