To perform an oil change, warm up the engine, then turn it off. Place an oil pan beneath the drain plug and remove the plug to drain old oil. Replace the oil filter, reinstall the drain plug, and fill with the recommended oil type and quantity.
Check the battery connections and ensure the battery is charged. Verify that the fuel valve is open and there is sufficient fuel. If the problem persists, inspect the spark plug and replace if necessary.
It's recommended to check the tire pressure before each ride. Proper tire pressure ensures optimal handling and prolongs tire life.
To adjust the suspension, use the pre-load adjuster on the shock absorbers to either stiffen or soften the ride based on your preference and the terrain conditions.
Start by checking all fuses and ensure they are intact. Inspect wiring for any visible damage or loose connections. Use a multimeter to test the battery voltage and replace the battery if necessary.
Regular maintenance includes checking and changing the oil, inspecting and replacing the air filter, checking tire pressure, lubricating moving parts, and inspecting the brakes and suspension.
To improve fuel efficiency, ensure the air filter is clean, maintain proper tire pressure, use the recommended fuel type, and avoid excessive idling.
Remove the air filter cover and take out the filter. Clean it using compressed air or wash it with a mild detergent and water. Allow it to dry completely before reinstalling.
Check the brake fluid level and top up if necessary. Inspect the brake lines for leaks or air bubbles and bleed the brakes to remove any trapped air.
Clean the ATV thoroughly, change the oil, and fill the fuel tank. Add a fuel stabilizer and run the engine for a few minutes. Disconnect the battery and store it in a cool, dry place. Cover the ATV to protect it from dust and moisture.
