Ensure the vehicle is on a flat surface. Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position, ensure the vehicle is in neutral, and press the start button while holding the brake.
Check the air filter every 25 hours of operation. Clean it with mild soap and water, dry thoroughly, and apply air filter oil if it's a foam filter.
Check the coolant level and ensure the radiator is clean. Inspect for any leaks and ensure the fan is operational.
Change the oil every 50 hours of operation or every six months, whichever comes first. Use the recommended oil type for optimal performance.
Check the battery connections, ensure there is fuel, and verify the ignition system is functioning correctly. If problems persist, consult a technician.
Loosen the rear axle nuts, adjust the chain tension using the adjusters, and ensure there is about 0.5 inches of slack in the chain before tightening the nuts.
Use unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher. Avoid using ethanol blends higher than E10.
Check the fuses, battery charge, and wiring connections for damage or corrosion. Use a multimeter to test the electrical system if necessary.
Front tires should be inflated to 4 psi, and rear tires to 4 psi for optimal performance and safety.
Remove the spark plug wire, use a spark plug socket to unscrew the old plug, and install the new plug with the correct gap setting before reattaching the wire.
