Ensure the ATV is in neutral, turn the ignition key to the "On" position, and press the start button while gently applying the throttle.
Use a high-quality 10W-30 or 10W-40 four-stroke engine oil that meets the manufacturer's specifications.
Regular maintenance should be performed every 20 hours of operation or every three months, whichever comes first.
Check the air filter for blockages, inspect the spark plug, and ensure that the throttle cable is not loose or damaged.
Loosen the rear axle nuts, adjust the chain tensioners evenly on both sides until the chain has about 1/2 inch of slack, then retighten the nuts.
Check the fuel level, ensure the battery is charged, inspect the spark plug for wear, and verify that the kill switch is in the "Run" position.
Remove the carburetor, disassemble it, and use a carburetor cleaner to remove any deposits. Reassemble and reinstall it carefully.
The recommended tire pressure is typically around 4 psi for front tires and 5 psi for rear tires, but check the user manual for exact specifications.
Regularly clean and replace the air filter, ensure the spark plug is in good condition, and maintain proper tire pressure. Consider upgrading the exhaust for better performance.
Check for air in the brake lines and bleed the brakes if necessary. Inspect the brake pads for wear and replace if needed.
