To perform a factory reset on your Onkyo TX-SR702, press and hold the VCR/DVR button on the front panel and then press the ON/STANDBY button. Hold them both until you see 'Clear' on the display. This will reset the unit to its factory settings.
First, ensure that the receiver is not on mute and the volume is turned up. Check all speaker connections and make sure they are secure. Confirm that the correct input source is selected and that the audio settings are properly configured.
