To connect your Onkyo TX-SR506 to a TV, use an HDMI cable to connect the HDMI OUT port on the receiver to an HDMI input on your TV. Ensure both devices are powered off during connection.
First, check that the speaker wires are properly connected and the speakers are functional. Then, verify that the correct input source is selected and the volume is turned up. Lastly, check the receiver's settings for any mute or audio output issues.
To reset the Onkyo TX-SR506, press and hold the VCR/DVR button while pressing the ON/STANDBY button. Release both buttons when you see "CLEAR" on the display. The receiver will reset to factory settings.
