To reset the Onkyo TX-SR505 to factory settings, turn off the receiver. Then, while holding down the VCR/DVR button, press the ON/STANDBY button. The display will show 'CLEAR', indicating that the receiver has been reset.
First, ensure all cables are properly connected. Check that the receiver is set to the correct input source. Verify that the speaker cables are securely connected. If all else fails, try resetting the receiver to factory settings.
