To perform a factory reset on the Onkyo TX DS797, turn off the receiver. Press and hold the "VIDEO 1" button, then press the "STANDBY/ON" button. Continue holding "VIDEO 1" until "CLEAR" appears on the display. This will reset the receiver to its factory settings.
First, check that all speaker cables and input connections are secure. Ensure the receiver is on the correct input source. Verify that the "MUTING" function is not activated. If the issue persists, try resetting the receiver to its factory settings.
The Onkyo TX DS797 does not have built-in Bluetooth support. To connect a Bluetooth device, use an external Bluetooth adapter plugged into one of the available audio inputs on the receiver.
