To connect your Onkyo HTP-593 to a TV, use an HDMI cable to connect the HDMI OUT port on the receiver to the HDMI IN port on your TV. Ensure that the TV is set to the correct HDMI input.
First, check all cable connections to ensure they are secure. Make sure the receiver is set to the correct input source. Check if the speakers are properly connected and the volume is turned up.
To reset the Onkyo HTP-593, press and hold the CBL/SAT button, then press the On/Standby button. Release both buttons when you see "Clear" on the display.
Download the latest firmware from the Onkyo website onto a USB drive. Insert the USB into the receiver's USB port, then follow the on-screen instructions to update the firmware.
Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the Onkyo HTP-593. Avoid using any chemical cleaners, as they may damage the finish.
Ensure that speakers are properly positioned and the room acoustics are optimized. Use the built-in calibration tool to adjust sound settings according to your environment.
Ensure that the receiver is well-ventilated and not enclosed in a tight space. Clean any dust from the vents and avoid placing it on soft surfaces that block airflow.
The Onkyo HTP-593 does not have built-in Bluetooth. You may need an external Bluetooth adapter to connect your phone wirelessly.
Place the speakers around the room according to the surround sound configuration guide. Use the receiver's configuration menu to adjust speaker distances and levels for optimal surround sound.
First, replace the batteries in the remote control. If it still doesn't work, try resetting the remote by removing the batteries and pressing all buttons. Reinsert the batteries and try again.
