To connect your Onkyo HT-SR800 to a TV, use an HDMI cable from the HDMI OUT port on the receiver to an HDMI IN port on the TV. Ensure the TV is set to the correct HDMI input.
Check that the speaker cables are securely connected to both the receiver and the speakers. Ensure the receiver is set to the correct input source and that the volume is not muted.
To perform a factory reset, press and hold the VCR/DVR button while pressing the ON/STANDBY button. This will reset the receiver to its default settings.
Use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe the exterior surfaces. Avoid using any liquid cleaners or spraying directly onto the unit to prevent damage.
Adjust the bass levels in the receiver's settings menu. Ensure the subwoofer is connected correctly and positioned optimally in the room for better bass response.
First, replace the batteries in the remote control. If it still doesn't work, ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the receiver, and try resetting the remote by removing the batteries and pressing each button once.
The Onkyo HT-SR800 does not support firmware updates via typical user means. Refer to the user manual for any specific instructions related to updates or contact Onkyo support.
The Onkyo HT-SR800 does not have built-in Bluetooth functionality. However, you can use an external Bluetooth adapter connected to one of the available inputs to stream audio wirelessly.
Use the Onkyo speaker setup microphone and follow the on-screen instructions in the receiver's setup menu to automatically calibrate the speaker levels and distances.
Ensure the receiver is placed in a well-ventilated area and not stacked on other electronic devices. Check for adequate airflow and remove any dust buildup from the vents. Consider using a fan for additional cooling if necessary.
