To connect the Onkyo HT-S3500 to your TV, use an HDMI cable from the HDMI OUT port on the receiver to the HDMI IN port on your TV. Make sure to select the correct HDMI input on your TV to receive the audio and video signal from the receiver.
Check that all speaker wires are properly connected to the receiver and the speakers. Ensure the receiver is set to the correct input source. Verify that the mute function is not enabled and that the volume is turned up.
To perform a factory reset, turn off the unit. Then, while holding down the "VCR/DVR" button, press the "ON/STANDBY" button. The display should show "CLEAR," indicating the reset process is complete.
The Onkyo HT-S3500 does not have built-in Bluetooth. However, you can use an external Bluetooth adapter connected to the receiver's auxiliary input to stream audio wirelessly.
To clean the unit, use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior. Avoid using any liquid cleaners or abrasive materials that could damage the surface or internal components.
To enhance bass output, adjust the bass settings on the receiver's equalizer, if available. Ensure the subwoofer is properly connected and positioned in a corner or near a wall to improve bass response.
First, ensure that the batteries in the remote control are fresh and correctly inserted. Check for any obstructions between the remote and the receiver. If the problem persists, try resetting the remote by removing the batteries and pressing all buttons.
The HT-S3500 does not support firmware updates as it is not equipped with a network connection or USB port for this purpose.
The Onkyo HT-S3500 is designed for a 5.1 channel setup. While you cannot connect additional speakers directly to the main unit, you can use external amplifiers if more channels are required.
Ensure that all HDMI cables are securely connected and that the HDMI ports are clean and free of debris. Try using a different HDMI cable or port to rule out cable or port issues. Ensure the TV and receiver firmware are up to date, if applicable.
