To reset the Onkyo HT-R591 to factory settings, press and hold the "VCR/DVR" button, then press the "ON/STANDBY" button. Hold both buttons until "Clear" appears on the display. This will reset all settings to their defaults.
Check if the receiver is set to the correct input source and ensure that the speaker wires are connected properly. Also, verify that the Mute function is off and the volume is turned up.
Unfortunately, the Onkyo HT-R591 does not support Bluetooth connectivity natively. Consider using a Bluetooth adapter connected to one of the available inputs.
