To connect your Onkyo HT-R391 to a TV, use an HDMI cable. Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI OUT port on the receiver and the other end to an HDMI IN port on your TV. Ensure the receiver and TV are both powered on and select the appropriate input on your TV.
To perform a factory reset on your Onkyo HT-R391, press and hold the CBL/SAT button on the front panel and then press the On/Standby button. The display will show "Clear" indicating the reset is complete. Note that this will erase all settings.
First, check that all speaker cables are securely connected to the appropriate terminals. Ensure the receiver is set to the correct input source and the volume is turned up. Also, check if the Mute function is activated and disable it if necessary.
The Onkyo HT-R391 does not support network-based firmware updates. Check the Onkyo website for any available updates and follow the instructions provided, which typically involve using a USB drive.

Connect the Blu-ray player to the Onkyo HT-R391 using an HDMI cable. Connect one end to the HDMI OUT on the player and the other to an available HDMI IN on the receiver. Then, select the corresponding input on the receiver to enjoy audio and video from the player.
Ensure all HDMI cables are securely connected and check for any cable damage. Restart the receiver and connected devices. Make sure the correct HDMI inputs are selected. If problems persist, try using different HDMI ports or cables.
