To reset your Onkyo receiver, press and hold the VCR/DVR button while pressing the On/Standby button. Keep holding until you see "Clear" on the display. This will reset the receiver to factory settings.
Use an HDMI cable to connect the HDMI OUT port on the receiver to the HDMI IN port on your TV. Ensure the TV is set to the correct HDMI input.
Check that all speaker wires are properly connected. Ensure the receiver is set to the correct input source. Verify the volume is turned up and not muted.
Currently, the HT-R390 does not support direct firmware updates. Refer to the manual or contact Onkyo support for more information.
The Onkyo HT-R290 does not have built-in Bluetooth. However, you can use a Bluetooth adapter connected to an AUX or optical input to stream audio.
Use the Audyssey 2EQ calibration feature by connecting the supplied microphone to the receiver and following the on-screen instructions for optimal speaker setup.
This may be due to overheating or a short in the speaker wires. Ensure proper ventilation and check all connections. If the problem persists, consult a technician.
Connect external devices using HDMI, optical, or RCA inputs, depending on the device's output. Select the corresponding input on the receiver to use the external device.
Regularly dust the exterior and ensure the ventilation slots are clear. Avoid placing it in enclosed spaces or stacking other equipment on top.
Connect the front, center, and surround speakers to the corresponding terminals on the receiver. Connect the subwoofer to the SUBWOOFER PRE OUT. Use the setup menu to configure the speaker settings.
