To assemble the Ninja BL490UK, ensure the motor base is on a flat surface, place the pitcher on the base aligning the tabs, and twist it clockwise until it clicks. Attach the blade assembly onto the pitcher, then place the lid and lock it into place.
Ensure the blender is plugged in, the pitcher is properly aligned and locked, and the lid is secured. Check the power outlet and try a different one if necessary.
Disassemble the blender by removing the pitcher, lid, and blades. Wash the pitcher, lid, and blades with warm, soapy water, or place them in the dishwasher. Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth.
It is not recommended to blend hot liquids as the steam may build pressure and cause the lid to come off, leading to potential injury or damage.
The Auto-iQ feature provides intelligent programs that combine unique timed pulsing, blending, and pausing patterns to take the guesswork out of blending.
Ensure the blade assembly is securely fastened to the base of the pitcher. Check the rubber gasket for damage or misalignment. Do not overfill the pitcher beyond the maximum fill line.
The Ninja BL490UK can handle fruits, vegetables, ice, nuts, and other typical blending ingredients. Avoid blending bones, or non-food items to prevent damage.
Regularly clean the blades after each use and dry them thoroughly to prevent rust. Avoid blending extremely hard substances to maintain blade sharpness.
Stop the blender immediately. Check for any foreign objects in the pitcher, ensure the blade assembly is correctly seated, and that the pitcher is not overfilled.
Replace the blade assembly if you notice a decrease in performance or visible damage. Regular inspections after every few uses will help determine when replacement is necessary.
