To adjust the temperature settings, locate the thermostat control knob inside the refrigerator compartment. Turn the knob clockwise to lower the temperature and counterclockwise to increase it. Refer to the user manual for recommended settings.
Check if the refrigerator is plugged in and the power is on. Ensure the thermostat is set to the correct temperature. Clean the condenser coils and check the door seals for any gaps. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
The MRF54BK is equipped with an automatic defrost feature. However, if frost builds up excessively, manually defrost by unplugging the unit and letting the ice melt. This should be done every six months or as needed.
To clean the interior, unplug the refrigerator and remove all food items. Use a solution of mild soap and warm water to wipe down the shelves and walls. Dry thoroughly before plugging it back in and returning food items.
First, check if the bulb is securely screwed in. If it still does not work, replace the bulb with one of the same type and wattage. If the problem continues, check the light switch or consult a technician.
Some noise is normal due to the compressor and fans. However, if you hear loud or unusual sounds, check for loose components and ensure the refrigerator is level. Persistent noise may require professional inspection.
Ensure the refrigerator is positioned away from heat sources and direct sunlight. Keep the door seals clean and intact. Set the temperature to the recommended level and avoid overloading the unit.
Store leftovers in airtight containers to maintain freshness. Place raw meats on the bottom shelf to prevent dripping, and keep fruits and vegetables in the designated crisper drawers. Organize items to allow proper air circulation.
After a power outage, wait a few minutes before plugging the refrigerator back in. Check and reset the temperature settings if necessary, and ensure all lights and components are functioning properly.
Water pooling could be due to a blocked defrost drain. Clean the drain hole with warm water and a small brush. Ensure that the refrigerator is level to prevent water from collecting in one area.
