Ensure the hob is placed on a stable, level surface. Connect the hob to the electrical power supply following the wiring diagram in the user manual. Make sure to follow all safety instructions and local regulations or hire a qualified electrician for installation.
Check if the hob is properly connected to the power supply and the circuit breaker is not tripped. Ensure that the control knobs are set correctly and the surface is not locked. If the issue persists, contact customer service.
Allow the hob to cool down completely. Use a damp cloth or sponge with mild detergent to clean the surface. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they can scratch the glass surface.
Clicking noises are normal and occur due to the expansion and contraction of metal parts as they heat up and cool down. If the noise is excessive, ensure the hob is installed correctly and not touching other surfaces.
Use flat-bottomed cookware made of materials such as stainless steel or cast iron. Avoid using glass, ceramic, or aluminum pans as they may not conduct heat efficiently.
To activate the control lock, press and hold the designated lock button until the lock indicator lights up. This prevents accidental activation of the hob.
Error code E4 indicates a temperature sensor fault. Turn off the hob and unplug it from the power source. Wait for a few minutes and restart. If the error persists, contact customer support.
Use cookware with a flat and consistent base, cover pots and pans with lids when cooking, and use residual heat for simmering or warming food. Additionally, ensure the hob is clean to maintain optimal heat transfer.
The CKH61 Hob can be used for canning, but ensure the cookware is flat-bottomed and of the appropriate size to cover the heating element. Monitor the temperature closely to maintain safe canning conditions.
It is recommended to have the hob serviced by a qualified technician every 2-3 years to ensure all components are functioning correctly and safely. Regular maintenance can prolong the lifespan of the appliance.
