To clean the Montpellier CER31NT Hob, ensure it is completely cool. Use a soft cloth or sponge with warm soapy water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads as they can damage the surface.
First, ensure the hob is properly connected to the power supply. Check if the control knob is set correctly. If the issue persists, consult the user manual for troubleshooting tips or contact customer support.
To activate the child lock, press and hold the lock button on the control panel until the lock indicator lights up. This will disable the hob's controls until the lock is deactivated.
Use flat-bottomed cookware made of materials like stainless steel, cast iron, or compatible materials for induction. Ensure the base of the cookware matches the size of the hob rings.
Press the timer button, then use the plus and minus buttons to set the desired cooking time. The hob will automatically turn off when the timer reaches zero.
Clicking sounds are normal and usually occur when the hob is adjusting power levels or when it heats up and cools down. If the sound is unusual or loud, consult the customer support.
To reset the hob after a power cut, turn off the hob and unplug it from the power source for a few minutes. Plug it back in and turn it on. If issues persist, refer to the manual.
Error code "E2" typically indicates overheating. Ensure the ventilation is not blocked and the hob is not overheated. Turn off the hob and let it cool before using again.
Use cookware with a flat and smooth base to ensure proper contact. Match the size of the cookware with the hob ring size and cover pots with lids to retain heat.
Regularly clean the hob surface after use to prevent buildup. Check for any visible damage or wear on the power cord and controls. Refer to the manual for detailed maintenance instructions.
