To adjust the temperature, locate the temperature control dial inside the fridge compartment. Turn the dial clockwise to lower the temperature and counterclockwise to increase it. Refer to the user manual for optimal temperature settings.
First, check if the refrigerator is plugged in and the door is closing properly. Ensure the temperature settings are correct. Clean the condenser coils located at the back or underneath the unit. If the problem persists, contact customer service for assistance.
The Montpellier MLF1770K is a frost-free model and does not require manual defrosting. However, you should periodically check for any ice build-up and ensure the defrost drain is not blocked.
Use a mild detergent and warm water to clean the interior surfaces. Remove all food items and detachable shelves or bins before cleaning. Rinse with clean water and dry with a soft cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.
Unplug the refrigerator. Locate the light cover inside the fridge and remove it by unscrewing or unclipping it. Replace the old bulb with a new one of the same type and wattage. Reattach the cover and plug the refrigerator back in.
Water pooling can occur due to a blocked defrost drain. Check and clear any blockages from the drain at the back of the refrigerator. Additionally, ensure the door seals are intact and closing properly.
First, ensure the refrigerator is level and stable. Unusual noises can also be caused by items inside vibrating against each other. If noises persist, inspect the condenser fan and motor for obstructions or damage.
Ensure the refrigerator is placed away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Keep the doors closed as much as possible and check the door seals for any gaps. Set the thermostat to the manufacturer's recommended setting for optimal efficiency.
Store raw meats on the bottom shelf to prevent drips onto other food. Keep fruits and vegetables in designated crisper drawers. Use airtight containers to reduce odor transfer and maintain freshness.
Secure all shelves and compartments inside the refrigerator. Keep the refrigerator upright during transport to avoid damage to the compressor. Allow it to stand for at least 4 hours before plugging it in once relocated.
