Ensure the refrigerator is placed on a flat, stable surface away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Leave at least a 5 cm gap around the sides and back for proper ventilation. Connect the appliance to a grounded electrical outlet.
Check if the thermostat is set to the correct temperature. Ensure the door seals are clean and intact. Verify that the vents inside the fridge are not blocked by food items.
Defrost the freezer compartment when the ice build-up reaches about 5mm thickness. Turn off the refrigerator and remove all contents before defrosting.
Clean the interior with a mild detergent and warm water every month. Check and clean the door seals regularly. Vacuum the condenser coils at least twice a year.
Store food in sealed containers. Place an open box of baking soda inside the refrigerator to absorb odors. Regularly clean spills and remove expired food.
Ensure the refrigerator is level and not in contact with any walls or cabinets. Check if items inside are vibrating against each other. If the noise persists, consult a technician.
Unplug the refrigerator. Remove the light cover inside the fridge, then unscrew the old bulb. Replace it with a new bulb of the same type and wattage. Reattach the cover and plug the appliance back in.
Check if the drainage hole at the back of the fridge is blocked. Clean it with a thin, flexible tool. Ensure the refrigerator is properly leveled to allow water to drain correctly.
Keep the refrigerator away from heat sources and direct sunlight. Ensure the door seals are tight. Avoid putting hot food directly into the fridge and keep the door closed as much as possible.
Set the refrigerator compartment to around 3-5°C and the freezer compartment to -18°C for optimal food preservation and efficiency.
