To set the temperature, locate the temperature control dial inside the refrigerator compartment. Turn the dial to the desired setting. The recommended setting is usually in the middle range.
Unusual noises can be due to the refrigerator not being level, items inside vibrating, or the compressor cycling on and off. Check these areas and adjust as necessary.
Ensure the refrigerator is plugged in and the temperature setting is correct. Check door seals for tightness and ensure the vents inside the fridge are not blocked.
To defrost, remove all items from the freezer, unplug the refrigerator, and leave the freezer door open. Use towels to catch any melting ice, and do not use sharp objects to remove ice buildup.
Unplug the refrigerator, remove all food items, and use a mixture of mild soap and water to clean the interior. Rinse with clean water and dry with a soft cloth.
If your model includes a water filter, it should be changed every six months or as indicated by the filter indicator light, if available.
Check for obstructions around the door seal, ensure the refrigerator is level, and inspect the door gasket for damage. Replace the gasket if necessary.
Keep the refrigerator away from heat sources, ensure the door seals are tight, and do not overload the fridge to allow proper air circulation.
Check if the bulb needs replacing and ensure it is screwed in properly. If the bulb is not the issue, inspect the door switch for faults.
Clean spills immediately, store food in airtight containers, and place an open box of baking soda inside to absorb odors.
