To adjust the temperature settings, locate the thermostat dial inside the fridge compartment. Turn the dial clockwise to lower the temperature and counterclockwise to raise it.
First, check if the refrigerator is plugged in and the power is on. Ensure the thermostat is set to the desired level. Check the door seals for any gaps and clean the condenser coils if they are dusty.
The Montpellier MFF185DX is a frost-free model, so defrosting is not required. However, if ice builds up, ensure the door is closing properly and the gasket is intact.
For optimal food preservation, set the refrigerator compartment to 3-5°C and the freezer compartment to -18°C.
Turn off the refrigerator and remove all food items. Clean the interior surfaces with a mixture of mild detergent and warm water. Rinse with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly before turning the power back on.
Check the drain hole at the back of the refrigerator to ensure it is not blocked. Clean it with a pipe cleaner or similar tool. Also, check that the door seals are clean and sealing properly.
Unplug the refrigerator. Locate the light cover inside the fridge, remove it, and unscrew the old bulb. Replace it with a new bulb of the same type and wattage. Reattach the cover and plug the refrigerator back in.
Ensure the refrigerator is level on the ground. Check for any loose items inside or on top of the fridge. Additionally, inspect the condenser fan and evaporator fan for any obstructions or damage.
Keep the refrigerator and freezer compartments at the recommended temperatures. Avoid leaving the door open for extended periods and ensure the door seals are intact and clean.
Check the door gasket for any debris or damage. Clean the gasket with warm soapy water. If the problem persists, ensure that the refrigerator is level and that nothing inside is obstructing the door.
