To adjust the temperature, locate the control panel inside the fridge, usually at the top. Use the temperature dial to set your desired cooling level. For optimal performance, keep the fridge at 3-5°C and the freezer at -18°C.
First, check if the thermostat is set to the correct temperature. Ensure the door seals are clean and tightly closed. If the problem persists, inspect the condenser coils for dust and clean them if necessary.
Manual defrosting is generally not required as the Montpellier MFF165K is equipped with auto-defrost technology. However, if ice buildup occurs, defrost the freezer every 6 months or as needed.
To clean the interior, first unplug the refrigerator. Use a mixture of warm water and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners. Wipe shelves and drawers, rinse with clean water, and dry thoroughly before reassembling.
Water pooling may be due to a blocked defrost drain. Locate the drain hole and clear any blockages using warm water or a pipe cleaner. Ensure the refrigerator is level to prevent further leakage.
Ensure the refrigerator is level on the ground. Check that it is not touching the wall or any other appliance. If the noise persists, inspect the compressor and fans for any obstructions or faults.
Check if the bulb is burnt out and replace it with a new one of the same type. If it still doesn't work, inspect the light switch or contact a service technician for further assistance.
Keep the refrigerator away from heat sources and ensure proper ventilation around it. Make sure the door seals are intact, and avoid opening the door frequently. Regularly clean the condenser coils.
Store fresh vegetables in the crisper drawer, which is designed to maintain optimal humidity levels. Use perforated plastic bags or containers to allow air circulation and extend freshness.
After a power outage, ensure the refrigerator is plugged in and the power is restored. The appliance should resume normal operation automatically. If issues persist, check the circuit breaker or contact a technician.
