To start a wash cycle, load your dishes, add detergent, close the door, select the desired wash program using the control panel, and press the 'Start' button.
Check for blockages in the drain hose or filter, ensure the sink drain is clear, and inspect the drain pump for obstructions. Cleaning these components can often resolve drainage issues.
Locate the filter at the bottom of the dishwasher, twist it counterclockwise to remove, rinse under running water to clean it, and then reinstall by twisting clockwise.
Unusual noises may be due to dishes rattling against each other, debris in the spray arm, or a loose pump cover. Make sure dishes are properly loaded and inspect the spray arms and pump cover for debris.
It is recommended to clean the dishwasher monthly. This includes cleaning the filter, spray arms, and door seals to maintain optimal performance.
Place larger items like pots and pans on the bottom rack, and cups and smaller items on the top rack. Ensure that dishes do not block the spray arms and all soiled surfaces are exposed to water.
Error code E4 typically indicates a water overflow issue. Check the water inlet valve, ensure the float switch is not stuck, and inspect for any leaks.
Use a high-quality dishwasher detergent, either in powder, liquid, or tablet form. Avoid using regular dish soap as it can create excessive suds and potentially damage the machine.
To adjust the rinse aid setting, open the rinse aid dispenser located inside the door, and use the dial to increase or decrease the amount of rinse aid dispensed per cycle.
White residue is often due to hard water mineral deposits. Use a rinse aid to help prevent this, and consider adding a water softener if the problem persists. Ensure the dishwasher is loaded correctly to allow proper water flow.
