To install the Montpellier INT61NT Hob, ensure the power supply is switched off. Fit the hob into the countertop cut-out, securing it with the provided clips. Connect the hob to the electrical mains following the wiring diagram in the manual.
Check if the hob is properly connected to the power supply. Ensure the circuit breaker is not tripped. If the issue persists, contact a qualified technician for further inspection.
Use a soft, damp cloth with mild detergent to wipe the surface. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or materials that might scratch the glass. For stubborn stains, use a hob scraper designed for glass surfaces.
Ensure the surface is clean and dry, as moisture or dirt can affect sensitivity. Check that the child lock is not activated, and try resetting the hob by turning off the power for a few minutes.
Regularly clean the hob to prevent residue build-up. Use the recommended cookware sizes and materials, and avoid dragging pots to prevent scratching the glass surface.
To activate the child lock, press and hold the lock symbol on the touch control panel for a few seconds until the indicator light turns on. This prevents accidental changes to the settings.
Refer to the user manual for the specific error code description and troubleshooting steps. If the problem persists, contact customer support for assistance.
While cast iron pots can be used, they must be handled carefully to avoid scratching the glass surface. Ensure the base of the pot is smooth and always lift to move, rather than dragging.
To reset after a power outage, turn off the hob completely and disconnect it from the power source for a few minutes. Reconnect and turn it back on. The settings should return to normal.
Some clicking noises are normal as the hob heats up and cools down due to thermal expansion and contraction. However, if the noise is excessive, consult a technician to ensure there are no underlying issues.
