To properly load laundry, distribute clothes evenly around the drum and avoid overloading. Ensure there's enough space for clothes to tumble freely for optimal washing.
Check if the machine is plugged in and the door is closed properly. Ensure the water supply is turned on and verify that you've selected a wash program and pressed the start button.
Remove the detergent drawer by pulling it out and pressing the release lever. Rinse it thoroughly under warm water to remove detergent residue. Reinsert the drawer once it is clean and dry.
Regularly check the TwinDos compartment for leaks or residue. Run a TwinDos maintenance wash with the machine's maintenance program every few months to ensure proper functioning.
Ensure the washing machine is level and on a stable surface. Check that load is balanced and not too small or large. Use vibration pads under the feet if necessary.
IntenseWash is designed for heavily soiled laundry and provides a more thorough cleaning with increased agitation and water temperature. Use it for items like sports gear or work clothes.
Leave the door and detergent drawer open after use to allow air circulation. Run a hot water wash with a machine cleaner or vinegar monthly to remove residues and bacteria.
Check the drain filter for clogs and ensure the drain hose is not kinked. Also, ensure that the drain pump is functioning correctly. Clean the filter regularly to prevent this issue.
Use the Delicates program and place delicate items in a mesh laundry bag. Use a gentle detergent and avoid high spin speeds to protect the fabric.
Refer to the user manual for the specific error code meaning. Common solutions include resetting the machine or checking connections. If the problem persists, contact Miele support.
