To adjust the temperature, use the control panel on the inside of the refrigerator. Press the temperature adjustment button to reach the desired setting. The display will show the current temperature setting.
Check if the door is fully closed and the seals are intact. Ensure the temperature setting is correct. If the issue persists, verify that there is adequate ventilation around the unit and that the condenser coils are clean.
It is recommended to clean the condenser coils at least once every six months to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
The Miele KS 37472 iD Refrigerator is equipped with automatic defrosting for the refrigerator compartment. For manual defrosting, turn off the unit, remove all items, and let the ice melt naturally. Use towels to soak up the water.
To change the interior light bulb, first unplug the refrigerator. Then, remove the light cover by pressing it gently. Replace the bulb with a new one of the same type and wattage. Reattach the cover and plug the unit back in.
Unusual noises can be caused by the unit not being level, items inside vibrating, or the compressor. Ensure the refrigerator is on a stable surface and check for loose items. If noises persist, contact Miele service for assistance.
To change the door swing direction, refer to the user manual for detailed instructions. Generally, you'll need to unscrew the hinges, reposition them on the opposite side, and reattach the door.
Store raw meat on the bottom shelf to prevent cross-contamination. Keep dairy items in the middle, fruits and vegetables in the crisper drawers, and condiments on the door shelves. Avoid overloading shelves to allow air circulation.
The SuperCool function can be activated by pressing the SuperCool button on the control panel. This feature rapidly lowers the temperature to quickly cool newly stored items. It will automatically deactivate after a set period.
The model and serial number can typically be found on a label inside the refrigerator compartment, usually on the left wall or near the bottom.
