To clean your Miele KFN 9855 iDE, turn off the refrigerator and unplug it. Remove all food items. Use a soft cloth with mild detergent to wipe down the interior and exterior surfaces. Avoid abrasive cleaners and harsh chemicals. Rinse with a clean damp cloth and dry thoroughly before reconnecting.
First, check if the refrigerator is plugged in and the power is on. Ensure the thermostat is set to the correct temperature. Check if the door seals are intact and not obstructed. If the issue persists, consider checking for dust on the condenser coils or contacting Miele support for assistance.
The Miele KFN 9855 iDE is equipped with a NoFrost system, meaning it automatically defrosts itself. You should not need to manually defrost the freezer under normal circumstances.
Locate the water filter compartment inside the refrigerator. Turn the old filter counterclockwise to remove it. Insert the new filter and turn it clockwise until it is secure. Run water through the new filter for a few minutes to purge air and impurities.
The recommended temperature setting for the refrigerator is 37°F (3°C) and for the freezer is 0°F (-18°C). Adjust the thermostat accordingly to maintain these temperatures for optimal food preservation.
Water leaks can occur if the drain hole is blocked. Check and clear any blockages in the drain hole located at the back of the refrigerator. Ensure the refrigerator is level to allow proper drainage.
First, unplug the refrigerator. Locate the light cover inside the refrigerator, typically near the top. Remove the cover, then unscrew the burnt-out bulb. Replace it with a new bulb of the same type and wattage, reattach the cover, and plug the refrigerator back in.
Regularly clean the interior and exterior surfaces. Check and clean the door seals, condenser coils, and water filter. Ensure the drainage hole is clear and the refrigerator is level. Perform these tasks at least every six months.
To adjust the shelves, remove any items on them. Lift the shelf slightly and pull it out. Choose the desired height and insert the shelf into the new position. Ensure it is securely in place before replacing items.
Ensure the ice maker is turned on and the water supply is connected. Check for any kinks in the water line. If the ice maker is still not producing ice, inspect it for blockages or faults, and contact Miele support if necessary.
