To change the water filter, locate the filter compartment inside the refrigerator. Rotate the filter counterclockwise to release it. Insert the new filter and rotate it clockwise until it locks into place. Run water through the dispenser for a few minutes to clear air and impurities.
First, check if the temperature settings are correct. Ensure the door seals are clean and intact. Inspect the condenser coils for dust buildup and clean if necessary. If the problem persists, contact Miele customer service for further assistance.
The Miele KF 2802 SF features automatic defrosting. However, if manual defrosting is needed, turn off the appliance, remove all food, and leave the freezer door open until the ice melts. Use a towel to absorb excess water.
Regularly clean the interior shelves and drawers with mild soap and water. Check and replace the water filter every six months. Clean the condenser coils annually to ensure efficient operation.
To activate SuperCool, press the SuperCool button on the control panel. This function lowers the refrigerator temperature temporarily to quickly cool freshly stored items. It will automatically deactivate after a set period.
Check if the ice maker is turned on and connected to a water supply. Ensure the freezer temperature is set correctly. If the ice maker still doesn't work, try resetting it by turning it off for a few minutes and then back on.
Use a soft, damp cloth with a mild detergent specifically designed for stainless steel. Avoid abrasive cleaners and pads. Wipe in the direction of the grain and dry with a clean cloth to prevent water spots.
Ensure that air can circulate around stored items by not overloading the shelves. Place raw meat and fish in the coldest area to prevent spoilage. Use the humidity-controlled crisper drawers for fruits and vegetables.
To adjust the temperature, use the control panel located inside the refrigerator. Press the temperature button to select the desired setting for both the refrigerator and freezer compartments.
Ensure the refrigerator is level and stable. Check for loose items inside that might be vibrating. If the noise continues, it may be due to normal operation of the compressor or refrigerant flow. Contact support if the noise is excessive.
