To operate the convertible roof, ensure the vehicle is stationary and the engine is running. Use the switch located on the center console. Pull the switch to open the roof and push it to close. Make sure the luggage compartment separator is correctly positioned to allow roof operation.
Mercedes-Benz recommends following the Flexible Service System (FSS), which includes oil changes every 10,000 miles or annually, whichever comes first. Other maintenance tasks should be performed as indicated in the owner's manual.
If the electronic parking brake fails to release, check for any error messages on the dashboard. Ensure the vehicle is in the correct gear and try restarting the engine. If the problem persists, contact a Mercedes-Benz service center.
Ensure the key fob battery is not depleted. Try holding the key fob closer to the start button. If the issue continues, use the physical key hidden in the fob to start the vehicle and visit a service center to check the system.
To improve fuel efficiency, maintain proper tire pressure, remove unnecessary weight from the vehicle, use cruise control on highways, and ensure regular maintenance as per the schedule. Driving smoothly and avoiding rapid acceleration can also help.
If the air suspension system is not working, check for any warning lights on the dashboard. You may need to reset the system by restarting the car. If issues persist, a diagnostic check at a Mercedes-Benz service center is recommended.
To connect your smartphone, enable Bluetooth on your device. Access the car's infotainment system, select 'Phone,' then 'Connect Device.' Follow the on-screen instructions to pair your smartphone with the vehicle.
To replace a flat tire, park the car on a flat surface and turn on the hazard lights. Use the supplied jack to lift the vehicle, remove the wheel nuts, and replace the flat tire with the spare. Tighten the nuts securely and lower the car.
To update the navigation maps, download the latest updates from the Mercedes-Benz website onto a USB drive. Insert the USB drive into the vehicle's port, and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update process.
When using adaptive cruise control, always pay attention to the road conditions and be ready to take manual control if necessary. Ensure the system is set to maintain a safe following distance, and do not use it in heavy traffic or adverse weather conditions.
