To charge the EQS at home, you can use a standard Level 2 AC charger. The vehicle comes with an onboard charger that supports up to 9.6 kW for efficient charging. Ensure your home electrical system is compatible, or consider installing a dedicated wall box for faster charging times.
The Mercedes-Benz EQS 2022 offers an estimated range of up to 350 miles on a full charge, depending on driving conditions and usage. For optimal range, maintain regular tire pressure, and use energy-saving driving modes when possible.
Software updates for the EQS 2022 can be performed over-the-air (OTA). When an update is available, you will receive a notification on the MBUX system. Follow the on-screen instructions to download and install the update while the vehicle is parked and has sufficient battery charge.
The electric drivetrain of the EQS requires minimal maintenance compared to traditional combustion engines. Regularly check the coolant levels for the battery cooling system and ensure that software updates are current. Consult the owner's manual for specific maintenance schedules.
To reset the tire pressure monitoring system, navigate to the 'Service' menu in the MBUX interface. Select 'Tire Pressure' and then 'Reset'. Follow the prompts to recalibrate the system after adjusting tire pressures to the recommended levels.
To improve energy efficiency, use the ECO driving mode, which optimizes power consumption. Maintain a steady speed, minimize rapid acceleration, and utilize regenerative braking. Keep the climate control usage moderate to conserve battery life.
If the EQS does not start, first check the 12V battery as it powers the vehicle's electronics. Ensure the key fob is inside the vehicle and has a functioning battery. If issues persist, consult the roadside assistance or contact your nearest Mercedes-Benz service center.
To enable advanced driver-assistance systems, access the 'Assistance' menu through the MBUX interface. From there, you can activate features such as adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and active parking assist, according to your preferences.
To connect your smartphone to the MBUX system, enable Bluetooth on your device and select 'Connect a New Device' from the MBUX Bluetooth menu. Follow the pairing instructions on both the smartphone and vehicle display to complete the connection.
The EQS 2022 supports both AC and DC fast charging at public stations. Use the Mercedes me Charge service to locate compatible charging stations. The vehicle's onboard navigation system can guide you to the nearest station and display charging status in real-time.
