To set the temperature, locate the thermostat dial inside the fridge. Turn the dial to the desired setting. A medium setting is recommended for optimal performance.
First, check the temperature setting and ensure the door is closing properly. Clean the condenser coils if accessible, and ensure there is adequate ventilation around the fridge.
It is recommended to defrost your refrigerator every 6 months or when the ice buildup is more than 5mm thick.
Ensure the door seals are intact, keep the fridge moderately full, and avoid placing it near heat sources. Also, set the temperature to an efficient setting.
Unusual noises can be caused by uneven placement or items inside vibrating. Ensure the fridge is level and check for any loose items on the shelves.
Check if the drain hole is blocked and clear it if necessary. Ensure that the fridge is not overfilled, which could obstruct airflow and lead to condensation.
Turn off the refrigerator and remove all contents. Use a mild detergent and warm water to clean the interior surfaces. Rinse and dry thoroughly before restocking.
Place raw meats on the lowest shelf to prevent drips, store dairy in the coldest part, and keep fruits and vegetables in the crisper drawers. Ensure airflow is not obstructed.
Unplug the refrigerator, remove the cover over the light bulb, and unscrew the old bulb. Replace it with a new bulb of the same type and wattage, then reattach the cover.
Inspect the seal for visible damage. If damaged, it should be replaced to maintain efficiency. Contact Matsui customer support for replacement parts and instructions.
