To adjust the temperature, locate the thermostat dial inside the refrigerator compartment. Turn the dial clockwise to lower the temperature and counter-clockwise to increase it.
Ensure that the refrigerator is plugged in and the thermostat is set correctly. Check for any obstructions blocking the air vents and ensure that the door seals are intact and clean.
To defrost the freezer, unplug the refrigerator and remove all items from the freezer. Allow the ice to melt naturally or use a bowl of hot water to speed up the process. Dry the interior with a towel before plugging the unit back in.
Water pooling can be caused by a clogged defrost drain. Clean the drain hole located at the back of the refrigerator compartment using a pipe cleaner or a similar tool to remove any blockages.
Regularly clean the condenser coils at the back of the refrigerator, ensure door seals are free of debris, and defrost the freezer if ice buildup exceeds a quarter inch.
First, unplug the refrigerator. Locate the light bulb cover inside the compartment, remove it, and unscrew the old bulb. Replace it with a new appliance bulb of the same type and wattage.
Humming noises are typically normal and indicate that the compressor or fans are operating. However, if the noise is unusually loud or persistent, check for loose parts or contact a technician.
Clean the seal with warm soapy water to remove any debris. If the seal is damaged or warped, it may need to be replaced to ensure a proper seal.
It is not recommended to store the refrigerator in a garage or outdoor space where temperatures can fluctuate significantly, as it may affect performance and efficiency.
Ensure the door is closed tightly, the thermostat is set to the optimal temperature, and the refrigerator is not overfilled, allowing for proper air circulation.
