To load dishes properly, place larger items like pots and pans on the bottom rack and smaller items on the top rack. Ensure that the spray arms can rotate freely and avoid blocking them with large items. Place utensils in the basket with handles facing down for better cleaning.
If the dishwasher is not draining, check the filter and drain pump for blockages. Clean the filter and ensure that the drain hose is not kinked or clogged. If the problem persists, inspect the drain pump for any obstructions.
To reset the dishwasher, turn it off and unplug it from the power source. Wait for about 5 minutes, then plug it back in and turn it on. This should reset the electronics and clear any error codes.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the filter, checking the spray arms for blockages, and wiping down the door seals. It's also advisable to run an empty cycle with a dishwasher cleaner monthly to prevent limescale build-up.
Spots on dishes may be caused by hard water. Check if the rinse aid dispenser is filled and adjust the amount used if necessary. You might also need to clean the spray arms to ensure they are not clogged.
To clean the filter, remove the bottom rack, twist the filter assembly counterclockwise, and lift it out. Rinse it under running water to remove debris and reassemble it by twisting it back into place.
Ensure the dishwasher is properly plugged in and that the door is fully closed and latched. Check the circuit breaker to ensure power is supplied. Verify that the water supply is turned on and that the delay start function is not activated.
To improve drying performance, use a rinse aid to enhance drying. Ensure that the 'Extra Dry' option is selected if available. After the cycle ends, slightly open the door to let steam escape and speed up the drying process.
The dishwasher offers several cycles: Intensive for heavily soiled items, Eco for energy-efficient washing, Quick for lightly soiled items, and Glass for delicate glassware. Choose the cycle based on the level of cleaning required.
Check the door seal for any damage and ensure it is clean. Inspect the water inlet valve and hose connections for leaks. Ensure the dishwasher is level and not overloaded. If the issue persists, consider contacting a professional technician.
