The recommended oil type is a high-quality 4-stroke engine oil with a viscosity of 10W-50. The oil capacity is approximately 1.1 liters (1.16 US qt).
The air filter should be checked and cleaned after every ride in dusty conditions. Under normal conditions, it should be cleaned every 10 hours of operation or as needed.
For off-road use, the recommended tire pressure is 12 psi (0.8 bar) in the front and 12 psi (0.8 bar) in the rear. Adjust according to terrain and rider preference.
First, check the battery for charge and connections. Ensure the fuel is fresh and the fuel valve is open. Inspect the spark plug for fouling and replace if necessary.
Perform a basic inspection before each ride. Every 15 hours, change the oil and oil filter. Every 30 hours, check valve clearance. Refer to the owner's manual for a detailed schedule.
Use the clickers on the top and bottom of the front forks and the rear shock to adjust compression and rebound damping. Refer to the manual for baseline settings and adjust according to terrain and rider weight.
Stop the engine immediately to avoid damage. Check coolant level and replenish if necessary. Inspect the radiator for blockages and clean if needed. Ensure the cooling fan operates correctly.
Maintain proper tire pressure and keep the air filter clean. Regularly service the engine, including changing the oil and checking the spark plug. Ride smoothly, avoiding excessive throttle use.
Essential tools include a metric socket set, Allen keys, a torque wrench, tire levers, and a spoke wrench. A motorcycle stand is also useful for stability during maintenance.
Regularly change the oil and filter, use high-quality lubricants, and ensure the air filter is clean. Avoid prolonged high RPMs and follow the recommended maintenance schedule.
