To set up the electronic suspension for off-road use, access the bike’s menu via the handlebar controls. Navigate to the 'Suspension' settings and select the 'Off-road' mode. This mode adjusts the suspension for improved traction and comfort on rough terrains.
First, ensure that the traction control system is activated in the settings menu. Check for any error messages on the dashboard. If the issue persists, inspect the wheel sensors for dirt or damage, and consult the dealer if necessary.
The oil should be changed every 9,320 miles (15,000 kilometers) or once a year, whichever comes first. Regular oil checks are recommended to ensure optimal engine performance.
The recommended tire pressure is 36 psi (2.5 bar) for the front and 42 psi (2.9 bar) for the rear. Always check the tire pressure when the tires are cold for accurate readings.
Check the battery connections to ensure they are tight and corrosion-free. Verify that there is fuel in the tank and that the fuel valve is open. If the engine still does not start, inspect the fuses and consult the user manual for further diagnostics.
The chain should be cleaned and lubricated every 620 miles (1,000 kilometers). Inspect the chain for proper tension and wear, adjusting as necessary. Replace the chain if there are signs of significant wear or damage.
Activate Bluetooth on your smartphone and navigate to the 'Connectivity' menu using the bike’s display. Select 'Pair New Device' and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the pairing process.
If the ABS warning light remains on, check the ABS sensors located on the wheel hubs for dirt or damage. Ensure the ABS system is enabled in the settings menu. If the warning persists, have the system checked by a professional.
Use the left handlebar switch to navigate through the menu and select 'Riding Modes.' Choose from options such as 'Street,' 'Sport,' 'Rain,' or 'Off-road' to customize the bike's performance to your riding conditions.
Ensure the motorcycle is on a level surface and the engine is cool. Locate the coolant reservoir on the right side. The coolant level should be between the 'Min' and 'Max' marks. Top up with the recommended coolant if necessary.
