To preheat the Korona 46117 Grill, plug in the grill and turn the temperature dial to your desired setting. Allow it to heat for approximately 5 minutes or until the indicator light signals that the grill has reached the set temperature.
First, unplug the grill and allow it to cool completely. Remove the grill plates and clean them with warm soapy water, using a soft sponge. Rinse and dry thoroughly before reattaching them to the grill.
Ensure that the grill is properly plugged into a working outlet. Check if the temperature dial is set correctly and that the indicator light is functioning. If the problem persists, consult the user manual or contact customer support.
It is recommended to use non-metallic utensils like silicone or wooden tools to avoid scratching the non-stick coating on the grill plates.
If food is sticking to the grill plates, ensure they are properly cleaned and seasoned. You can also lightly coat the plates with cooking oil before use.
To ensure even cooking, preheat the grill properly, and do not overcrowd the cooking surface. Flip the food halfway through cooking if necessary.
Always supervise the grill while in use, keep it away from flammable materials, and ensure it's on a stable, heat-resistant surface. Also, use oven mitts or gloves when handling hot surfaces.
The drip tray should be cleaned after each use to prevent buildup of grease and ensure the grill operates efficiently.
If the grill emits smoke, ensure there is no excess grease on the grill plates or drip tray. Clean them if necessary and ensure that the grill is not overheating.
Ensure the grill is thoroughly cleaned and completely dry. Store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, preferably with the lid closed and the power cord neatly wrapped.
